I can’t believe I’m doing this.  Instead of asking me for more pictures of the Venetian-era architecture I walk past every day, the view from the Fakulteta (I can see the Adriatic while I lecture), the Gothic cathedrals or even the marina, I have had multiple requests for a picture of … the “party pan”.

Oh… so the “party pan” is an electric skillet? do you have a stove?
I would just be lost without a microwave. Seriously I think that it is unacceptable that you are expected to live without one.

Thanks a bunch, Velvet. I was one of the many who wondered just how this marvelous invention looked. I pictured it as an electric wok and it looks very much that way.

It is truly beautiful and iconic. Amen!

Thanks for showing me the party pan. I think we can now focus on some of the other unique things about Slovenia. Wow! I did not know you could see the Adriatic while you teach.

Funny … I am going to start calling my electric skillet a “party pan”. Maybe cooking will be more fun that way!
